Independent practice: design and build together, for founders who want one accountable person from Figma to production.
The problem
Small teams hiring separately for design and development inherit the gap between them: designs that can't be built as drawn, developers guessing at intent, and quality dying in the handoff.
Founders told me the same story repeatedly — 'the site looks nothing like the mockups' — a problem that costs both money and launch momentum.
My approach
Design with the build in mind
Every Figma decision is made by the person who will implement it — so nothing is designed that can't ship, and nothing ships that wasn't designed.
Fixed scope, visible progress
Projects run as fixed-scope engagements with weekly demos on a live URL — clients see real software, not status reports.
Handover as a feature
Clean repos, documented decisions, and no lock-in. Clients own everything and can continue without me — which is exactly why they come back.
The solution
A growing independent practice delivering marketing sites, SaaS MVPs and product redesigns where the design intent survives all the way to production.
Google UX Design certified process on the design side; the same production standards I learned shipping SaaS on the build side.
